Salami Kasimu kelvin (aka Skelvin) is one of Nigeria’s fast-rising Afrobeats/Hip-Hop artists. He has worked with established

artistes such as Magnito, Jaywillz, Sugarboy, Erigga and Corizo among others. He first found regional success in 2022 with

the single “Only Hope” which appeared on his debut album, “The Rendition”.

Building upon his initial breakthrough, Skelvin dropped singles titled “Sorry” featuring Jaywillz, and “Fire” featuring Corizo.

These singles shot him to limelight, earning him more Spotify listeners. Yet he didn’t slow down as he followed up with another

album titled “Been Thru a Lot”. The album housed “Shanumi”, a track that featured Magnito and went viral on Tiktok. The album

also marked Skelvin’s second collaboration with Jaywillz with the song “Fine Girl”. The track “Love Riddim”, also from the album,

had Sugarboy as a guest artiste.

Skelvin has had a great year so far, with remarkable feats which include his music videos enjoying massive airplay on MTV Base

and other major international music channels. With this, he is making steady inroads to the global music scene.

The album “The Revelation” has been a significant addition to his rapidly growing discography. Three of the 5 tracks in the

body of work namely “Survival", “Money Go Come” and “Redeemer” (featuring Corizo) have become hits.

SKelvin’s milestones have been coming in quick succession, and he continues to break new ground.  With the release “Cana”
